Hi Jochen!
Welcome to Russian V-max club forums!
It's really great to meet Vmax owners from other countries in here. ;D
p.s. i'll try to get rid of "language gap" in here, so i'll be helping with translations ;)
-

Greetings Jochen! I am glad that you have interested in our forum, there will be discussions for sure :) I am watching at the pictures, and i've got a question: do you guys all use these straight handle bars? Is that comfortable in hard traffic?
-

Awesome! And you call that "some things modified"?! Respect! I got a question: did you do that all by yourself or with the help of special tuning shop?

reapermax, Welcome!
Great bike.. 100% exclusive

Hi!
The straight handlebars are easy to ride. Mine is not so wide, it´s only 75cm. I have had a 110cm before, but that´s defenitely too wide.
In my oppinion it´s easier to ride curves and twisties with the wider than stock bars.
@ Temych: I did everything by myself. Last year I have had an accident. Rear sets, handlebar, mirrors, exhaust, etc. was damaged and/or scratched. So I
took it completely apart and build it up again.

I always spoke that it is not necessary to be upset after iccident. Also that any easy iccident - a way to TUNINGGG ; )

I always said that there is no reason to be upset after accident, any small accident is just a way(a chance) to improve the bike, a way for tuning.
One should see good(positive) sides in everything.
It just like old parts "wanted" to be replaced so they've been damaged. ;D

Offtop
straight handlebar is awesome in the city(traffic), you just need to get used to it.

I am impressed, really cool bike! Come to Moscow, no Königsberg
-
Moscow... Moscow...Up ass Moscow :) Königsberg is beautiful city :) Good and friendly people.
-
Hi, man! Nice to hear from you! Things are going right in Germany, I should say, gazing at your bike! :D
-
Hi!
Things are o.k. in Germany. Nevertheless, had my seasons end riding with my brothers from local club.
Was real great! 18°C, bright and sunny, less traffic and 260 Km of riding...
I like to come to Moscow, but with my bike it´s difficult to come. Too long on the street (I need to have a lot of holidays :-) ) and too much money via plane.
Maybe I rent a bike.
Regards,
Jochen

Absolutely. I sand blasted the frame and let it powdercoat. I got a new carbon exhaust from BSM, new rearsets and let them chrome, a new handlebar and new break and clutch levers from ISR.
I better tell not my wife about cost, she would beat me.... :)
